Gold futures rise 0.1% on global cues
Fresh positions by speculators supported the trade

Gold futures for February rose by Rs 32, or 0.1%, to Rs 30,869 per ten grams in 3,148 lots.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the April contract traded higher by Rs 20, or 0.06%, to Rs 31,572 per ten grams in 357 lots.
Fresh positions by speculators supported the trade. Firm global trend also triggered the uptrend. In Singapore, gold was trading higher by 0.3% at $1,684.75 an ounce.
