Indiabulls soars on buyback approval

The Indiabulls Securities scrip increased 10.55 per cent to Rs 23.05, after its board approved a buyback of shares. The shares will be purchased from the open market at a maximum price of Rs 33 a share and will cost the company Rs 83.18 crore.

The stock made an intraday high of Rs 24.4 and a low of Rs 21.5 with trading volumes of 21.21 lakh shares (about 2.5 times of its two-week average). The scrip made a 52-week high of Rs 300 (April 02, 2008) and a low of Rs 16.8 (January 23, 2009).
