Jaiprakash Power to raise Rs 2,500cr

Jaiprakash Power has plans of raising Rs 2,500 crore in the international and the domestic markets through the issue of QIP/FCCBs/ADRs/GDRs/FPO.

According to a release issued by the company to the BSE the board of directors of the Company at its meeting held on January 25, 2010 has authorized the collection of the above mentioned amount for meeting its capital expenditure for the projects of the company.
