Markets in red; Bharti, Hindalco up 2%

The NSE Nifty is down five points at 4,157.

Satyam has plunged 3.7% to Rs 461. HDFC has tumbled 3% to Rs 2,055.

TCS has shed 2.8% at Rs 845. Wipro and ICICI Bank have dropped 2.6% each to Rs 420 and Rs 601, respectively.

Infosys has slipped 2.4% to Rs 1,764. Jaiprakash Associates has declined 2% to Rs 168.

Hindustan Unilever, Mahindra & Mahindra and Reliance Infrastructure are down around 1.5% each at Rs 215, Rs 529 and Rs 844, respectively.

Bharti Airtel has gained 2.4% at Rs 760. Ambuja Cements and Hindalco have moved up 2% each to Rs 81 and Rs 157, repsectively.

 

Tata Motors is up over 1% at Rs 405.
