Mentha oil up 1.4% on pick-up in spot demand

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the April contract edged up by Rs 14.20, or 1.16%, to Rs 1,236.80 per kg in 602 lots.
Prices rose as traders created fresh positions, driven by pick-up in spot market demand.
Increasing demand from exports and limited supply from the producing areas further supported the uptrend.
Restricted supplies from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh, mainly influenced mentha oil futures trade here.
