NBCC gains on construction order worth Rs 3,000 crore

Shares of NBCC were up over 2% on the Bombay Stock Exchange at Rs 1,008 after the company announced that it has won an order from All India Institute of Medical Sciences to develop a Rs 3,000 crore Jai Prakash Narayan Apex Trauma Centre Ph-II at AIIMS, New Delhi.

The project is planned for 2,250 patient beds and shall be developed on a land parcel of 15 acres within a period of 4 years. Memorandum of Understanding has been entered on December 21, 2005, the release added.

The stock opened at Rs 1,020 and touched a high of Rs 1,036. At 12:20pm, over 297,000 shares were traded on both the stock exchanges.
