Potato prices declined by Rs 4.90 to Rs 609.20 per quintal in future trade today on increased arrivals in the physical market amid subdued demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, potato for far-month April contract declined by Rs 4.90, or 0.80 per cent to Rs 609.20 per quintal with a business turnover of 2 lots.
Potato for delivery in the March-month contract also weakened by Rs 3, or 0.63 per cent to Rs 628.40 per quintal in 2 lots.
