Realty gains strength on easing liquidity

Realty was the top performer in today's market. The BSE Realty index opened today with a positive gap of 118 points at 3,938. The index touched a low of 3,923 and a high of 4,078.

The finally ended with a gain of 216 points (5.6%) at 4,036, advancing 89% in the last two months.

Unitech soared 16% to Rs 92. DLF gained 3% at Rs 415.

HDIL surged 8% to Rs 307. Indiabulls Real Estate was flat at Rs 249.

Orbitco rallied 9% to Rs 184. Peninsula Land and Phoenix Mills moved up 8% each to Rs 72 and Rs 147, respectively.

 

Akruti City, Anant Raj Industries, Parsvnath, Ansal infrastructures, Sobha Developers and Omaxe added 3-4% each.

The easing liquidity situation has helped the realty to surge today.

The BSE Realty index has advanced 3% at 3,929. The index has surged 85% in the last two months.

DLF has advanced 1.5% at Rs 410. Unitech has soared 7% to Rs 85.

Indiabulls Real Estate has added 2.5% to Rs 253.

Peninsula Land has surged over 7.5% to Rs 72.

Anant Raj Industries, Mahindra Lifespace Developers, Akruti City, Ansal Infrastructures, Orbit Corporation have soared 4-5% each.

Parsvnath Developers, Sobha Developers  have gained 2.5-3% each.

HDFC AND Indiabulls Real Estate have advanced nearly 3% each to Rs 292 and Rs 252, respectively.
