Sensex ends at 9757, down 201pts

The Sensex opened 38 points lower at 9919. The index moved into the positive zone and touched a high of Rs 10,052.

However, selling at higher levels forced the index drop to a low of 9609 - down 443 points from the day's high. The index finally ended with a loss of 2% (201 points) at 9757.
