Sensex flat; Grasim spurts 2%

The Sensex is now up three points at 11,710.

Ranbaxy has surged 2% to Rs 404. Dr.Reddy's has moved up 1.3% to Rs 721.

Grasim has added 1.6% to Rs 2,260.

Tata Motors, Maruti and HLL have advanced 1% each to Rs 855, Rs 864 and Rs 237, respectively.

NTPC has slipped nearly 2% to Rs 125. Reliance Energy, Tata Steel and Reliance Communications have moved down 1.4% each to Rs 442, Rs 510 and Rs 305, respectively.

Out of 2,507 stocks traded so far, 1,406 have declined, 1,025 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
