Sensex likely to open higher

Mirroring gains in the global indices, the Sensex may open on a positive note. According to Vijay Bhambwani, CEO & Technical analyst of BSPL India, the Sensex may continue to witness pressure at higher levels.

He adds, upsides resistance for intra-day traders on the Nifty is expected at be around the 3,042-levels, while on the downside 3,008 level is crucial below which, the outlook will become weak.
