Sensex pares gains; ONGC, NTPC drag

The Oil & Gas heavy weights dragged the Sensex in to the negative and the index is now 20 points higher at 14,541.
The BSE Oil & Gas index has shed 2% to 9,197.
ICICI Bank has gained 3.5% to Rs 739. Jaiprakash Associates has soared 2.5% to Rs 205.
Larsen & Toubro, ITC, Reliance Communications and BHEL are up over 1% each.
ONGC has slipped 3% to Rs 979. Sun Pharma, Reliance and NTPC have dropped around 2.5% each to Rs 1,280, Rs 1,994 and Rs 194, respectively.
Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors, TCS and Reliance Infrastructures are down over 1% each.
The market breadth is still positive, out of 2,376 shares traded, 1,357 have advanced and 933 have declined so far on the BSE.
