Sensex up 129 pts; Satyam gains 2.7%

The Nifty is trading at 4897, up 27 points.

Jaiprakash Associates has gone up 3.5% to Rs 220. Satyam has gained 2.7% to Rs 537.

 ITC is up 2.2% to Rs 222 and SBI has advanced 2% to Rs 1,472.

Maruti has gained 1.9% to Rs 778. Infosys and L&T have advanced 1.5% at Rs 1,987 and Rs 3,025 respectively.

TCS and HDFC are trading above 1%.

Hindalco has lost 2.4%% to Rs 187, NTPC is down 1.5% to Rs 169, and Reliance Communications has declined 1.1% to Rs 570.

Tata Steel and Ambuja Cements have lost 1% to Rs 893 and Rs 94 respectively.  M&M, HDFC Bank, HUL, ACC, BHEL, and Cipla are other losers.
