Sensex up 86pts; Tata Steel spurts

The Sensex touched a high of 11,722, and is now up 86 points at 11,706.
Tata Steel has spurted 1.4% to Rs 535.

Larsen & Toubro, HDFC Bank, BHEL, Ranbaxy, Cipla, Bajaj Auto, ICICI Bank, Infosys and Reliance Energy have advanced 1% each to Rs 2,442, Rs 855, Rs 2,270, Rs 401, Rs 246, Rs 2,750, Rs 594, Rs 1,787 and Rs 454, respectively.

Grasim is the sole loser among the index stocks.
