Sensex up 90pts; SBI soars 5%

| The Sensex is now up 90 points at 15,325. Hindustan Unilever has zoomed 5.5% to Rs 207. SBI has soared 4.8% to Rs 1,571, and Reliance Energy has gained 3.5% to Rs 791. Ambuja Cements has rallied 3% to Rs 129. Larsen & Toubro has moved up 2.7% to Rs 2,492. Grasim and Tata Steel have advanced around 1.5% each to Rs 2,905 and Rs 661, respectively. NTPC, Reliance Communications and ACC are up over 1% each to Rs 163, Rs 544 and Rs 1,011, respectively. ITC has dropped 2% to Rs 168. Hindalco has shed 1.5% to Rs 171. Infosys and Dr.Reddy's are down 1% each to Rs 1,983 and Rs 636, respectively. |
