Silver prices fell by 0.36% to Rs 43,109 per kg in futures trade today as speculators trimmed exposures amid a weakening trend overseas.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the July contract fell by Rs 154, or 0.36%, to Rs 43,109 per kg in 910 lots.

The September contract declined by Rs 148, or 0.34%, to Rs 43,600 per kg in 42 lots.

In Singapore, silver traded 2% lower at $22.45 an ounce.

Analysts said a subdued trend in precious metal in the global markets, led to fall in silver prices at futures trade here.
