Silver futures down 0.36% on global cues

Silver prices fell by 0.36% to Rs 43,109 per kg in futures trade today as speculators trimmed exposures amid a weakening trend overseas.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in July fell by Rs 154, or 0.36%, to Rs 43,109 per kg in business turnover of 910 lots.
Similarly, the metal for delivery in September declined by Rs 148, or 0.34%, to Rs 43,600 per kg in business volume of 42 lots.
In the international market, silver traded 2% lower at $22.45 an ounce in Singapore.
Analysts said a subdued trend in precious metal in the global markets led to fall in silver prices at futures trade here.
