Sugar declines on weak demand

Sugar prices declined at the Vashi wholesale market here today owing to subdued demand from stockists and retailers coupled with good stock positions.  

Small sugar quality (S-30) dipped by Rs 20/21 per quintal to Rs 2,830/2,871 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 2,851/ 2,891.

Medium sugar quality (M-30) also fell by Rs 10/20 per quintal to Rs 2,876/2,931 as against Rs 2,886/2,951 yesterday.
