Zinc falls 0.22% on weak global trend

Subdued demand also put pressure on the trade

The zinc futures for February traded lower by 25 paise, or 0.22%, to Rs 113.15 per kg, in 42 lots.

The January contract shed 15 paise, or 0.13%, to 112.15 per kg, in 1,527 lots.

Weak spot demand alongside weak global trend as Federal officials said they will probably end their USD $ 85 billion monthly bond-buying programme weighed on the zinc futures prices.
