10 dead in Brazil football training centre fire

At least 10 people were killed in a massive blaze that swept through a training centre of Brazilian football club Flamengo in Rio de Janeiro in the early morning hours of Friday.

The fire broke out in a dormitory at the youth training ground where the players were sleeping, CNN reported quoting state-run news agency Agencia Brazil.

Flamengo is one of the most popular and biggest football clubs in the football-frenzy nation, playing their home games in Rio de Janeiro.
