A seven-year-old British boy has reportedly broken the impressive goal-scoring record of Barcelona star Lionel Messi by netting 106 goals in just 50 games.
Manchester United fan Sonny Kilkenny has put the Argentine's 91 goals in a year to shame by scoring in every game he has played for his junior club Wrenford Rangers and has even been put in defence to give his teammates a chance.
According to the Daily Express, Sonny has received around 12 trophies for his annual performance including a Golden Boot trophy, Player's Player award and last season winning the Manager's Player of the Year award.
The boy's father said that Sonny's club is the top team in the league, adding that he has worked extremely hard to beat Messi's record, of which he was aware.
