After Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun was taken under the scanner for a performance-enhancing drugs investigation along with 15 other baseball players, New York Yankee's Alex Rodriguez has also been put under investigation, with an executive saying that the 65-game suspension was nothing compared to what the highest-paid player could face.
According to CBS News, the executive said that Rodriguez will definitely be suspended for using performance-enhancing drugs and there was an overwhelming amount of evidence showing multiple years of usage, adding that it could even be a lifetime suspension.
Both Braun and Rodriguez are on a list of players accused of using banned drugs from a now-closed anti-aging clinic in South Florida run by a man named Tony Bosch, who is now cooperating with baseball, the report said.
