Al Roker sets new record for world's longest weather broadcast

Al Roker has earned Guinness World Record by completing a 34-hour long uninterrupted live weather forecast.

The weatherman, who had the marathon certified by Guinness World Records as the longest continuous live weather broadcast, ended up raising over 77,000 dollars for the USO, E! Online reported.

Roker's broadcast beat out the current reigning champ, Norwegian TV personality Eli Kari Gjengedal, who held the position with 33 hours long broadcast.
