Boxer Amir Khan splurged on a 72,500-pound car as a wedding present for his new American bride.

Britain's youngest-ever boxing medalist, who married 21-year-old student Faryal Makhdoom in New York last Friday, gave her the gift when she landed in Britain on Tuesday, the Sun reported.

Millionaire Khan, 26, tweeted a snap of the Merc SL and promised to teach her how to drive on the correct side of the road.
