Andy Murray feels ready for Wimbledon after winning Aegon Championships

British tennis ace Andy Murray has said he feels ready for Wimbledon after surviving a groin scare and winning the Aegon Championships.

Murray had developed the scare after he slipped and fell on the grass during the rain-delayed final at Queen's Club.

But after losing the first set to defending champion Marin Cilic, Murray recovered to win 5-7 7-5 6-3. It was the third time he claimed the title here.

According to the Mirror, the US Open and Olympic champion, who missed the French Open due to a back injury, said that he felt really nice to come through after the last three or four weeks.

 

He added that he felt good, adding that he was a little tired it has been a long five days.
