Apple reportedly in talks to acquire Beats Electronics for $3.2 billion

Apple reportedly has its eye on the high-end-headphone maker Beats Electronics.

The iPhone company is in talks to acquire the company co-founded by hip-hop artist Dr. Dre, in a deal worth 3.2 billion dollars, as reported by the Financial Times and according to CNET.

The deal could be announced as early as next week.

However, the report added that the deal is yet to be finalized and could still fail to materialize pending discussions between the two companies.
