BJP leader Yashwant Sinha's judicial remand extended till June 28

A local court on Monday extended judicial remand of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Yashwant Sinha and his supporters till June 28.
The veteran BJP leader did not apply for bail in the court and the Chief Judicial Magistrate R.B. Pal decided to extend his remand.
The former Finance Minister was arrested on June 2 after he led a BJP demonstration at the state Electricity Board office in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand.
He had refused to furnish a bail bond which had led to him languishing in jail.
