Actress Khushboo resigns from DMK, calls Karunanidhi a father figure

Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) leader and actress Khushboo on Monday announced that she has resigned from the party.

"At times hard decisions have to be taken at the right time with a smile. I have done just that..no point in pondering over something that hurts," Khushboo tweeted.

"...he is not just leader but a father I never had..nothing can take that away," she further tweeted referring to party chief M Karunanidhi.
