Cancer-stricken cartoonist waits eagerly for PM Modi outside Allphones Arena

Ailing cancer stricken cartoonist Ramesh Chandra is eagerly waiting outside the Allphones Arena for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, where he will soon be arriving to address the India community.
Praising the Prime, Minister, Chandra said India is fortunate to get a head of government like him.
"I have come here to meet Prime Minister Modi. I am very happy. For the past 67years, there is no development in India, but now, such a man has come to power who knows everything, is disciplined and such nice man can't be found anywhere else. You are really fortunate to have such a man to lead the country," said Chandra.
"If I want to meet Prime Minister Modi, I don't care about my health, as it's a big thing that I am getting this opportunity in my life. Wherever he calls me I will go there, and I will wait here till he arrives," Chandra added.
"I want to do something for him, I am very happy; I am a cancer patient, and will not survive much. But, still I am so ecstatic about meeting Prime Minister Modi," Chandra further said.

He also showed the cartoons that he has sketched for the Prime Minister, and said he has been doing this since the Prime Minister decided to contest the Lok Sabha elections.
More than 16,000 members of the Indian Diaspora will pack the Allphones Arena at Olympic Park in Sydney to welcome Prime Minister Modi. Big screens have been installed outside the venue, and there is a festive atmosphere prevalent for the people wanting to attend or watch the event.
The volunteers, who have organized the event at Olympic Park, havepromised a reception more grand than the one Prime Minister Modi received at the famous Madison Square Garden in New York during his U.S. visit.
After Sydney, the Prime Minister will reach Australian capital Canberra this evening, where he is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with his Australian counterpart Tony Abbot and address a joint session of the Australian Parliament on Tuesday.
