Chadwick Boseman has been cast to fill the title role in Marvel Studios' newly announced 'Black Panther' movie.
The 37-year-old 'Get On Up' star would play T'Challa, the head of the fictional African nation of Wakanda, the Hollywood Reporter reported.
The character would make its debut in the third installment of 'Captain America' movie in 2016, and would appear as solo lead in the title movie, which has scheduled to release in November, 2017.
Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, Black Panther was a long-serving member of the Avengers who too had multiple solo runs throughout his 48-year history.
