To promote digital mode of payment and transactions in locals of Chhattisgarh state, Digi-Dhan Mela will be organised in the capital Raipur today.
Union Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Narendra Singh Tomar will attend this programme.
In this fair, users of digital payment mode like, Ru-pay Card, USSD, UPI and AEPS will be given prizes through lucky draw.
The state government will also organize slogan, poster and jingle competitions to promote digital payment in Chhattisgarh.
First prize for each category of competitions will be Rs. 15,000 each and second prize will be Rs. 10,000.
These prizes will be distributed in the Digi-Dhan fair.
The second Digi dhan fair of Chhattisgarh will be organized in Bhilai on January 9 and third in Bilaspur on January 13.
