Despite losing 3-0 in England for only the third time in history, Australian captain Michael Clarke has said there were a lot of positives out of the last three Ashes Test matches and that the side is taking shape for the return series.

According to news.com.au, Clarke expressed that he could be biased but Australia was in a position to win in Manchester, and also in Durham.

The captain hailed Chris Rogers and Steve Smith for scoring their first Test hundreds, praised Shane Watson for his knock and said the bowlers including Ryan Harris deserved a lot of credit.

Clarke said that pitches would not be doctored in Australia as the team has had enough success on those wickets.
