Clash after pro-Pak slogans raised in Kashmir Marathon

A clash broke out between the police and protestors after pro-Pakistan slogans were raised near the venue of the 'Big Kashmir Marathon' at Hazratbal here on Sunday.

The 21-kilometre marathon was to begin from Naseem Bagh at Kashmir University and go along the Dal Lake.

However, the youth raised slogans in favour of freedom and pelted rocks on the forces guarding the venue in the varsity.

The police and paramilitary forces baton charged the youth when they pelted stones at them.
