The Delhi High Court on Friday directed the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) to clear the dues of East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) and the North Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) primary school teachers.
The High Court has asked the MCD to pay salaries for last month within a week and the rest of the pending amount in a month.
The court's order came while hearing a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed over non-payment of salaries to the EDMC and the NDMC primary school teachers.
