Dolly Parton wants challenging film roles

Dolly Parton, who is tired of being offered acting roles where she only plays heightened versions of herself, wants to shed her skin for a challenging film role.

The 68-year-old country music legend said that she would someday love to find a really great role in a movie, where she won't have the nails, wear high heels, the make-up, the Daily Express reported.

The American singer said that she wanted something really good where she could really show that she could be a good actress.

According to Parton, she could do some really serious acting with a great director.
