Delhi Police Commissioner B.S. Bassi on Monday said that all relevant facts will be taken into consideration against Laxmi Nagar MLA Vinod Kumar Binny for allegedly claiming that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Alka Lamba was running a sex racket at her house.
"We have lodged the FIR and all relevant facts will be taken into consideration while investigating the matter," Bassi told ANI here.
"The CBI is also investigating the matter," he added.
Lamba had filed an FIR earlier accusing that Binny had falsely alleged on social media that she was running a sex racket at her house.
Earlier on Sunday, Lamba lashed out at Binny over his claim that her complaint against him is a political conspiracy.

Refuting Binny's claim, Lamba said, "Suppose I am in place of Binny and there is a fake account in my name which has been misused to demean the character of a woman, then I would have contacted the victim, would have stood by her and said that this account is fake, let us fight this together."
"But instead, Vinod Binny is saying that it is a political conspiracy aimed at maligning him and the AAP is using a woman against him. I cannot imagine that one can stoop so low," she added.
Lamba further said that an FIR has been filed against Binny under the Cyber Crime Act.
"As evidence, screenshots of Binny's profile along with the IP addresses have been submitted to the police. Cyber Crime officials have said that there is enough evidence to send the accused behind the bars," she added.
Lamba had filed an FIR earlier accusing that Binny had falsely alleged on social media that she was running a sex racket at her house. Binny had later told the media that someone had created a fake account in his name to malign him.
