Gaza conflict: Five-day ceasefire extension marred by fresh strikes from Israel, Hamas

Israel has reportedly resumed air strikes on Gaza after Hamas launched rocket attacks on its territory following an agreement to extend the three-day ceasefire by two days.
Israel's military said that they were targeting locations occupied by militants in Gaza after Hamas fired five rockets into Israel on Wednesday evening, reported the BBC.
The decision to extend the truce was mediated by Cairo during indirect talks between Hamas and Israel just before the 72-hour truce expired.
