Robin Soderling is tired to be the only player to beat nine-time French Open champ Rafael Nadal, and hence, he is hoping that someone else beats the ace at the Roland Garros in Paris.
The 28-year-old Spaniard, who's nicknamed "The King of Clay," has an incredible 66-1 French Open record ever since his 2005 debut when he won the title, has only lost to Swede Soderling in 2009, News24.com reported.
In an interview, Soderling said on his unique place in French Open folklore, that the history won't repeat itself, "not in 100 years," and though it was good to be the only one, all people did was just ask him about that match.
Nadal's loss at the upcoming tournament might just stop all such talk, he added.
Soderling also said that since Rafa is not the favourite," to win this time, he wouldn't be surprised if it did happen.
