Hizb-ul- Mujahideen terrorist arrested in Anantnag

In a joint operation by security forces, an alleged Hizb-ul- Mujahideen terrorist Rameez Ahmad Dar was arrested from Bijbehara, Anantnag in South Kashmir on Thursday.

A huge cache of arms and ammunition were also recovered from him. He was reportedly arrested following a credible input to the security forces about his location.

On the other hand, the three terrorists who were neutralised today during an encounter in Shopian have been identified as Hizb-ul-Mujahideen and Lashkar-e-Taiba affiliates, Jammu and Kashmir Police said.
