Indian tourist bus catches fire in Pokhra

In a bizarre mishap, a tourist bus with Uttar Pradesh license plates caught fire in Nepal's popular tourist spot Pokhra early on Monday morning.

Pokhra Police told ANI that the bus with over 40 tourists had come from Gujarat and had parked itself in the Lakeside area of Pokhra.

Police said that preliminary investigations have revealed that the fire on the bus carrying license plate UP 51T8311 was caused by the inebriated bus staff, including the driver.

They said that the incident is still being investigated. Further details are awaited.
