IS jihadists give musicians 90 lashes for making music, burn down band's instruments

Islamic State (IS) jihadists have reportedly burned down the instruments of a music band and gave the musicians 90 lashes for making music in a province in Libya.

According to Daily Star, the IS militants later posted pictures with the drums as they went up in flames.

The group rounded up the men in public to deter others in the Libyan province that is under the terror network's control.

The militant group has also outlawed cigarettes, hookah pipes and alcohol under the IS' strict Sharia law.
