J-K Governor Vohra visits Amarnath shrine

Jammu and Kashmir Governor N.N. Vohra on Thursday visited the Amarnath shrine here.

The first batch of Amarnath Yatra pilgrims was flagged off from Jammu base camp yesterday.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh had yesterday held a review meeting on security provisions for the Amarnath Yatra.

Elaborate security arrangements have been made to ensure a safe and secure yatra for the pilgrims.

The yatra will come to an end on August 29.
