Jim Carrey just wanted short break from ex

If sources are to be believed, then Jim Carrey never wanted to completely sever his relationship with his former girlfriend Cathriona White, who committed suicide after their breakup.

Insiders recently revealed that the 53-year-old actor only intended to take a short break from White and they both even celebrated the make-up artist's birthday on September 19, reports TMZ.com.

However, White wrote in her suicide letter that Carrey broke up with her on September 24th.
