Mariah Carey quits 'American Idol'

Mariah Carey has no plans to return to the reality singing show- 'American Idol'.

The publicity firm of the pop star, PMK BNC, tweeted that Carey is not returning to the show and is planning a world tour after the success of her new single, 'Beautiful', Fox News reported.

Carey, who became a new judge on the show last year, bickered with her fellow judge, Nicki Minaj, creating a feud that was uncomfortable for both viewers and contestants.
