McEnroe hopes Kyrgios learns from 'bonehead moves' at US Open

Former tennis player John McEnroe has lashed out at controversial Aussie player Nick Kyrgios, saying he hopes the player has learnt from his 'bonehead' moves following his first-round defeat to Andy Murray in the US Open.
McEnroe labelled the 20-year-old as 'vaudeville entertainer' and added that he better step up to stop being remembered as a clown.
The original tennis super brat lauded Kyrgios for his skills, but warned him to capitalise on his unbelievable opportunities before time slips away, the Guardian reports.
Earlier, Murray defeated Kyrgios 7-5, 6-3, 4-6, 6-1 to advance to the second round of the US Open at Flushing Meadows in New York.
