MEA introduces round the clock helpline for trapped Indians in Iraq

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has introduced a 24*7 helpline for the Indians trapped in Iraq.
The MEA also confirmed that the location of the trapped Indians is being tracked.
Moreover, families of Punjabis trapped in Iraq along with Punjab Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal had today met External Affairs Minister (EAM) Sushma Swaraj to decide on the next steps to secure the safe release of their relatives.
The ministry has, however, not been able to contact any of the trapped nationals.
