Melinda Gates calls on Health Minister J.P. Nadda

The Co- founder of Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Melinda Gates, called on Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare J P Nadda, here on Monday.

Earlier on Sunday, Melinda visited a Maoist-hit village in Jharkhand's Khunti district to see a women empowerment project run by the NGO Pradan.

In recognition of their foundation's philanthropic activities in India, Bill Gates and Melinda Gates had jointly received the country's third highest civilian honour, Padma Bhushan, in 2015.
