People's Democratic Party (PDP) patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed called on Jammu and Kashmir Governor N.N. Vohra at Raj Bhawan here last night.
Official sources said Sayeed discussions with the governor focussed on ways to end the ongoing political stalemate in the state with regard to government formation as well as a review of the overall security situation.
The PDP emerged as the single largest party with 28 seats in recent Assembly elections.
The meeting lasted for over two hours.
The PDP had recently rejected the National Conference's offer of support, and said that it is still involved in talks with the BJP on the issue of government formation.
