Nepal police, customs stop Indian trucks at Birgunj

Nepal police have stopped Indian trucks at Birgunj on the Indo-Nepal border from returning to India.

Birgunj's chief custom officer has reportedly threatened to impound the trucks and not allow them to move into the Indian territory until India allows supply trucks to move into Nepal.

According to sources, Nepal has only four days worth of petrol, diesel and LPG reserves.
