New Andhra capital to come up in central part of the state

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu today indicated that a committee is working to identify the new capital of the state, which would be located somewhere in the central part of Andhra Pradesh.

Naidu said, "Andhra Pradesh's capital will be at a central place; a committee is there working in that direction."

It may be noted that a committee appointed by the Union Government is looking into the issue, but is yet to submit a report on the location of a new capital, post bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
